Post by: Moondreamer on September 24, 2013, 01:11:37 pm
Seeing as we have a new section for Lindsay's latest, I'm waiting for others to finish it to rehash it to heck and back with them :D come play!

Or we could discuss my version of the story, which involves sitting at the coffee shop, ordering another latte, waiting for the mysterious men to come back, and then asking them direct questions.

What? Lindsay's version is more exciting? Hmph.  ;)

Can we talk about how I have the most giant crush on the Spartan and want to make him into a bunny despite the fact he had less screen time than Boba Fett in the original trilogy? :P

Not sure. Where could a guy over 2 thousands years old who knows nothing of the modern world could go? And how in heck did he know to leave the ipad in their car?

I'm going to go with other-dimensional beings that inspire the elf myths.

And I wonder if the replaced tablet was an 'I'm sorry' gift from Blue Eyes. He seems considerate like that

My question is more : How did he know what that putting it in the car would allow DElia to find it again... or even what a car was?

I think my favorite part was the fact that Delia wasn't the person who was able to use the sword. It's nice to see somebody besides the POV protagonist get to be special.

So most of the book, to me, felt like reading EE6 when Am is about to board the vessel pretending to be part of Forge, and the whole time I'm shouting, "YOU KNOW THIS WILL END BADLY, JUST GO HOME!!!" but they go and do it anyway.

AWESOME work Lindsay!!!!!!

The pang of envy she feels for Temis also felt very true. The "oh... I guess I'm not going to be the hero after all". It broke my heart a little.

Me too. I wanted to give her a hug (not that she would have accepted it...) and tell her that she's still the heart of the operation. Her levelheadedness and general competence were essential to getting things done.

Although I feel like a bit of a traitor, because I'd still be interested in getting the sequel from Temi's point of view.

It's not like he knew it was their car either. Maybe she accidentally left her photo ID/License on the seat?

I think he's hiding in a cave, waiting.
