Okay, kind of a beta reader question. What's a poor quality, cheap fabric Maldynado wouldn't usually wear?

I would think hand-made linen. Maybe cotton, but they don'T have the climate for it, so I would think it would be considered more expensive. But if factory-woven stuff is all the rage, hand-made fabrics would be for country folk.

Thanks! That works awesomely.

Hey, folks, would anyone be interested in doing the first read of some Mal/Yara? I'm trying to get to a place where Mal is in a position to watch his kids trying to ride the cat because I love it too. So, AU, currently about 1500 words, possibly more if I get myself sorted out. I don't really need grammar checked, just some discussion/critique about characterization and possibly some writerly butt pats.

Reply however you want -- in thread or PM, whatever.

and now we need to chase ST to get her to draw Mal's kids riding the cat

I think it'll have to be done newspaper-comic style too - Family Circus or Calvin & Hobbes ;)

Jolly Jack like would be epic!  With hundreds of Denizens watching who will then take the cat riding to the Nth degree.  probably with lazers  :o

We need one beta reader for our recent fanfic project. Any volunteers?
