« on: September 04, 2012, 01:58:43 pm »
Events surrounding Sespian's from Marathis pov.

I think your attachment might have been eaten by the forum. *nom nom* Or maybe I'm blind.

The smiley face just means that the thread is one that you've posted in. And I'm a blonde too, so no idea on what happened.

You can edit the original post and reattach the story using a field down at the bottom

I didn't realise you had added the story to your original post. Very, very nice, I must say. I loved Marathi's voice in there, and how scared yet brave she was.  And... the idea that she might be linked with Forge, even from far away is... intriguing. I hope you write more about it :)

I have some ideas lurking in my head... just haven't quite wrapped them up neatly ...  how old was sespian when she died?

I have in mind someting like 10 or 11, so about 5 years before Raumesys' death. But, I'm not sure if I'Ve dreamed that one or if it is in EE1.

My timeline places Sespian at 4 yrs old when she dies.  I have found one other timeline discrepancies so if someone finds a better date let me know.

That young?  I thought he was older than that, as he seemed to have some memories of her at the very least.

I think it happened when he was 8 or ten? He said something about 10 years, I think.

I haven't reread all of the books so there is some timeline issues between books.  I note them when I find them :)

Per EE1 it had been 'more then a decade' since Marathi died so he'd be around 8 I'd guess

I think I was in Assassin's Curse at the time.

Or maybe the cabin in EE2

I really liked this! I thought it was quite nice how you made Marathi sympathetic to Sicarius - I always thought that she would've known what was happening and only made Sespian stay away because she was worried about them being together and her cover being blown. In my mind, she calls Sicarius to her deathbed and tells him how much she appreciates what he did for her :D
