Sweartoad is in the dungeon attic - better natural light for drawing, of course. And let's not even discuss what live models she gets to have in there with her...

OH YEAH. I will happily live in a dungeon if this is my living situation.

Hey you're like Leonard of Quirm ;) I wonder if the Patrician visits...

Can the next installment come out and play?

Maybe later tonight or tomorrow! Or possibly later than that. We'll see how my brain is cooperating with me this evening. I'm a bit of a political junkie, so I've been catching up on all the hurricane-related political hijinks. So much news to read!

I LOVED IT. Seriously woman. Next chapter now!!

Also, who gets to hang out in the dungeon? Is this one of those things that make me want it even more because I'm not there?

I sort of invited myself to dungeon because I had you and Cael capslocking at me on AO3. You know, for my own protection. :P

But now that I know there's an air hockey table, I refuse to leave.

Hey, folks! Instead of leaving you hanging while I continue to curse out Mal and his chicken in the scene following this, I've gone ahead and posted the first scene from this chapter. I'm afraid it's nothing but continuing Amaranthe and Sicarius fluff, but I don't think that will be objectionable.

Get it right here.

Ah, I see you are also a warm supporter of the no pants option. :P

Thank you very much! I try. By being really, really anal.

Speaking of the "warm supporter" thing, that's a paraphrase of a line from an 1830s men's fashion magazine which has been hanging on my bulletin board for a while. The editors were lamenting that a certain fashionable man had had to stop being fashionable because he had run up so much debt, and they praised him for his boldness in being "a warm supporter of nankeen trousers". That struck me as absolutely hilarious, and I have been wanting to use it in something I wrote since I read it. Delighted to use it here!

ETA: So anal I just edited a crapload of errors out of what I just posted. Oh, boy.

I can really only say this (so get back to writing!):
"All right, girl, we are not going to be attracted to the amoral assassin."
