Name That Pastry!
« on: November 18, 2012, 01:48:16 pm »
As promised in chat last night...

Anyone want to help me name a type of pastry for the EE novella? Someone's going to be absconding with a bag of them, and I thought it'd be fun to hear what the imperial version of "bear claws" should be. :D If you have a suggestion, leave it here or on my Facebook post. Thanks!

Ah, man, I was all set to rattle off a bunch of names, but truly nothing will ever top emperor's buns. If only to see Sespian's reaction to the person who is supposed to be, if I remember correctly, wolfing these things down.

Muahahahaha.

It would be so perfectly awkward and uncomfortable if it was Amaranthe. "Who's buns are you biting?"

Heh heh heh. Especially since I'm imagining Amaranthe, having existed on a Sicarius bar and fish eyes in the recent past, double fisting these pastries like there's no tomorrow. So her answer will be, through a mouthful of pastry, "Mwuh-wuh-wuh's wuns?" And then Sespian squirms.

Hee hee. I love seeing Sespian squirm. Plus Mal will be all, "See? There's hope!"

Though it would be hilarious to see Sespian depicted as some sort of sex symbol, and it's like his head on a Mal-type body. :D

"That could be your actual butt in her mouth someday!" And then Sespian squirms more. Because who wouldn't when confronted with Mal trying to be encouraging?

I LOVE IT. There has to be a Turgonian equivalent of Cosmopolitan out there. All those business ladies -- somebody has jumped on that moneymaker.

Maldynado would be a really bad wingman. Your wingman isn't supposed to steal your ladies.

Yeah, I don't use Facebook. Mostly to protect my own reputation.  :o
