Topiary
« on: December 18, 2012, 06:39:15 pm »
Hi guys!  This lovingly crafted bit of irreverence sprang from a conversation in chat with my muse for this story, Sarah.  It's a bit ridiculous, but I hope it will be good for a quick laugh!

I was pretty conflicted about where to post this, but there's nothing really out of character here, and it's set in the EE world, so...Canon section it is.  Please let me know if it should be put elsewhere :)

"A stray cat perhaps."
"Adorable, loyal, and lovable?"
"Nosy, curious, and independent."  His eyes crinkled.  "Not something you plan to bring home."
Amaranthe found hope in his light tone.  "But something you appreciate once it's there?"

Oh, Amaranthe, your life is so tough.

And I like the title. *snicker*

Ha!  I wonder if Sicarius' peripheral vision will come into play now.

Oh, god. Poor Amaranthe. No place is safe for her now. So long as he doesn't offer to help, I suppose . . .

I suspected as much, but was only thankful there was no hot wax involved.
