Santacarius: In the Library (written for Kitty)
« on: December 23, 2012, 05:01:25 pm »
This is the gift written for Kitty for the Secret Santacarius Exchange. Happy solstice, Kitty!

Books as we have never seen him before . . .  :o
"She tried to imagine him married and living in a house in the countryside with a passel of toddlers running around. The vision did not evolve far. If he ever  married, it would have to be to someone who would follow him into the woods and up a tree." -- Dark Currents

Did anyone else visualize the video for Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart during this? Or was that just me?

Oh, that Booksie.... :)

And if I had had a hunky guy librarian in my school as a teenager, I think there would have been some serious palpitations, lemme tell ya.

(Oh, and if anyone wants to DIE laughing (and somehow never saw it) go to YouTube and search for the literal video for that song. It's blocked in my country, but it makes me hysterical just thinking about it. Go on. You'll be glad you did.)

Is that not what I just said? I almost bought the t-shirt, it's that good.

(And Jareth is a mullet with headlights)

Well, I might have seen the first part of your post and missed the rest on my quest to find the video.  :P

I still want to see the Jareth / Sicarius death match. Clearly it would be Sic, but I'd so enjoy Jareth thinking he would win.

That was adorable!  I love it :)
"A stray cat perhaps."
"Adorable, loyal, and lovable?"
"Nosy, curious, and independent."  His eyes crinkled.  "Not something you plan to bring home."

glitter the herpes of the craft world: seems like a good idea at the start but then you can never get rid of it

Um, Kitty, who ever thinks herpes is a good idea?

Is this one of those odd cultural differences things?
