Santacarius: Firelight (written for Sarah)
« on: December 23, 2012, 05:16:59 pm »
This is the Santacarius gift that was written for me! Mwah ha ha!

OK, so, the person who wrote this taunted me with false details about it via PM, so it was totally not what I was expecting. It is very tender and sweet, and I was expecting . . . raunchy. (Raunchy? Around here? What WAS I thinking? :P) But no! It is delicious and sweet, and now I am jealous of Mrs. Basilard. Apparently "winter solstice" equals "epic cuddling" among Basilard's people.

So sweet.

These Basilard stories make me so sad for him, though.  I hope Lindsay eventually writes him some kind of a reunion.  :(

I know. :( I want Basilard to be accepted by his family again so badly. Or at least find a short woman in Stumps and be happy.

That was so totally lovely. For a second I thought Lindsay must have written it because of the vocabulary (susurration??) but yeah, really sweet and touching and lovely. Poor Bas.

That was so bittersweet!  Cute and sad at the same time.  Lovely!
"A stray cat perhaps."
"Adorable, loyal, and lovable?"
"Nosy, curious, and independent."  His eyes crinkled.  "Not something you plan to bring home."
Amaranthe found hope in his light tone.  "But something you appreciate once it's there?"
