Working, working... Oh and working! Although I did manage to get Ria's bunny commissions done and make my way up to Utah to deliver them in person. Also found some gorgeous brown and white alpaca yarn and wool stuffing to make Bunvrial, so she'll be a very luxurious bunny. I might open commissions some time soon as well ;)

Currently winding down the summer.  Working way too hard for the amount of output I seem to be producing.  Vacation to Vancouver BC and Bellingham WA.  Misc. local trips on the weekends.  Kid #1 was in Germany for 3 weeks on a student exchange program and now we have the German counterpart here for 3 weeks.  Kid #2 is playing way too much with the computer (luckily some of that time is spent grumbling about optimum clock speeds and tweaking video card performance).  Waiting for the bunnies to come my way.

Sounds like a busy summer! Did you already do the vacation or is that coming up? I'm heading up to Mt. Baker next week for some light hiking and hardcore writing. :D

I'm in summer hibernation mode. Living in FL means I hide inside all summer, and come out when the weather is less nasty.
In the mean time I got suckered into writing a fan fiction, because it seems the residents here are fanatics about that sort of thing.  :) That is almost done.
I may have to take up crochet again, its been a while.

I didn't realize Florida ever got that hot. Or is it the humidity that melts ya? What kind of fan fiction?

Looking foward to reading your next project, Lindsay! On my side, it's more writing and editing msotly, while looking for a new job that would allow me to live closer to my family and friend. Just went for an interview yesterday, so I'm crossing my fingers about that.

Good luck with the job! Still working on the erotica series? I haven't checked in to see if Amazon has made the first one free yet.

The first half of spring/summer was spent flying about like a headless chicken (3 weeks in Europe and then a week in  the Dominican Republic right after), the middle of the summer until now I spent working for customers and now we're planning our next trip to Europe again. Weather here in Michigan has pretty much sucked since it's been rainy and relatively cold, so I've spent most of it in my work area painting, drawing and sewing random things when I haven't been working for clients. I've been to a couple of art fairs and read a lot, but in all honesty my summer has been incredibly boring so far. Looking forward to fall colors and octoberfest in Scandinavia, even if that doesn't happen for another month.

All that traveling doesn't sound very boring to me. ;) I'm heading to Europe at the end of September. It's my yay-finished-with-a-book-series vacation. Though I am trying to finish up something else first, heh.

Yeah im super excited about the FG series and EE in 2014!
My summer was spent doing accounting homework, now im just waiting for an accountant position to open up so I can apply. My little family did get to see our family in New York for a week, but again, i was doing homework the whole time, i didnt get to quite enjoy my time. Moore, Oklahoma has calmed down since our May tornado's. My city is slowly rebuilding, and the majority of the debris has been picked up. Looking forward to a wonderful fall!

I hope the fall turns out well. Hey, you don't do any accounting for self-employed authors, do you? :P I'm still using TurboTax, ahem.

I'm waiting for my husband to get back from a 10 1/2 month deployment. 4 more days of being a single parent to 2 small children!  I've been reading a lot as part of my Sanity Continuation Program.  I also met Lindsay and Deanna (dptalia) in person.  Who knew Colorado Springs was such a happening place? Evidence that we actually exist is attached.

Colorado Springs is cool. ;) I finally got some books and a box to fit them for someone... Just need to make a trip to the post office now.

I'm armpits deep in wedding planning.  (Only 24 more days!)  Why I thought it would be a good idea for a chronic procrastinator to have a DIY wedding, I have no idea. ::) Playing around with the idea of opening an etsy shop... and looking for another book series to get sucked into while waiting for Lindsay's next batch of addictive amazingness! :)

Good luck with the wedding! I'd have to do the justice-of-the-peace or the drive-thru Vegas wedding, if it were me. No patience for big shindigs, planning or attending. :P

Similar to Alice in that am looking for a new book series to get addicted to and spend too much money on.  other than that am working on my own writing and inflicting it on the ever patient Alison to edit.  Girl is a star.  other than that am hurriedly making plans, trying to get my christmas shopping done ASAP, get the house/garden/driveway sorted and tidied up, then looking up child minders as I am 7 weeks pregnant :o  And i didn't have to take any exams or anything to see if i am mentally stable enough to be a parent >:D

Congratulations, Kitty! I like how you just slip that in. Writing, Christmas shopping, and oh yea, a kid popping out sometime next year... :D

Just got back from an Alaskan cruise. It was lots of fun! I saw bears, whales, and bald eagles galore. Now that I am back home in VA I am just counting the days till fall when the weather gets cooler.

Cool, did you leave out of Seattle? I've done the inside passage one where they take you to a bunch of places that get even more rain than Seattle. I don't think I saw any bears, though climbing around on top of the glacier was fun.

Best wishes, Alice. And congrats, Kitty. I've just survived the first four months of being a parent. I think I can see the light at the end of the tunnel... or maybe that's the sleep deprivation? ;) Eh, it's not really so bad. Enjoy pregnancy as much as is possible, and don't stress over everyone telling you what to do when you're pregnant! (I see the irony in telling you to do that.)

My summer's been tiring, but nice. I'm learning to juggle working full-time with pump breaks, made infinitely easier by accommodating bosses and husbands. Um, just one husband. Two bosses. And I'm collaborating on a not-so-secret project that will at some point be inflicted on the forum. :)
It's possible we remember the events a little differently.

Ooooh when?!  And am gleefully ignoring all advice (mostly my mothers) due to the fact morning sickness takes priority ;D

Thanks Lindsay, may have to make that my new signature....

NDN the bunnies lived in the lounge the whole time they were with me.  i swear!

Congrats Kitty and Alice.

Judy -- good luck! From about 5 to 11 months is the golden age of babyhood--they sleep all night and smile at you. Makes surviving the newborn stage worth it!

I'm working and writing as much as I can. I also just got back from vacation and managed to obtain a slight tan. Woot!

Already did the vacation thanks.  Took the So. Cal weather with us to Vancouver and Bellingham.  Clear, nice, not a cloud in the sky.  All the locals were expiring from the heat wave (in the high 80's to mid 90's) and we were looking around going "It is not hot till you get to 3 digits!"

Well, the job fell through and the first of the book still isn't free, which is annoying. but oh well... in the mean time, we're finishing up with the serie so we can return to our follow up novel :D

Its not so much hot, as so humid and rainy, its hard to tell the difference between humidity and rain.  ;) When you can't breathe because its 95 degrees and 95% humidity, its time to stay in. Then there is the daily thunderstorms. Summer is just not the pleasant season here. December to March makes up for it though.
fan fiction - Post Canon EE, of course.  I went off on a wild hair and made up my own people. Its been fun, though I am not a writer, so hopefully no one laughs.
Apparently, I lack charisma

Surprisingly, he was easier to work on than the accompanying BunAm. She was made with a wool blend yarn that felted pretty much as soon as I completed a stitch. So if I messed up, it was a nightmare :o

I may also be working on a post-canon fanfic. It's a little Alice-in-Wonderland for me to venture to put it in type right now (and features crossover characters that are very dear to my heart) but it grows in story every day on my head. Sigh.

Ooooh when?!

Uncertain. It's... approaching 30k words. And we're about 20% through our plot outline.

Judy -- good luck! From about 5 to 11 months is the golden age of babyhood--they sleep all night and smile at you. Makes surviving the newborn stage worth it!

Sleep all night? How will I keep up with my WWF games? But yes, that will be nice. He is wonderfully smiley and giggly now. Also, he has a knit kraken who is anxiously awaiting the visiting plot bunnies, if they ever make it to North America ;)

Kitty, I am ecstatic for you!!  Alice congrats and you will survive the next few weeks ;)

Judy I am sooo excited for your new work can't wait to read it:)

Moon and Mana looking forward to book 2;)

my summer has been crazy full with family.  My brother and his family came to MI for three weeks from Korea, I got to meet my nephew.  Another brother and his wife were up from SC for a week.  We went on vacation with my husbands family for a week. We just returned from upstate NY where we traveled for a wedding.  There is only one week before school starts and we finally don't have any commitments.  I need another month.  Preferably a warm one because I have only been to the beach 3 times and Lake MI is one of the best things about summer.
