Review Copies of the New Mystery?
« on: January 29, 2014, 05:30:13 pm »
Hi guys,

Would anybody be interested in reading my contemporary (non-fastasy -- gasp) story a little early? I don't know how many regular readers will follow me into a different genre, so I'm hoping to get a few reviews when the novel goes up, so at least the contemporary mystery/romance of the Kindle world might see the book and give it a try.

If you want an unedited Word .doc copy right now, I can send that, or if you want to wait until next week when I get the file back from the editor and it's formatted for ereaders, I can send that too. Just send me a note here if you're interested.

Thanks!

P.S. Here's the blurb (still a work in progress):

When Tara Blankenship's employer sends her out to write articles about an "eco village" on Washington's Olympic Peninsula, she expects a quiet, quaint couple of weeks. (She's far too mature to use the word boring, thank you very much.) What she stumbles into is anything but quaint.

Someone has been slaughtering livestock to scare the villagers, mysterious intruders are searching the property at night, and the handsome jerk of a neighbor nearly runs Tara off the road on her first day. Surly Malcolm Ashcroft is the last person a sane woman would want to deal with, but he may be the only one with the information needed to solve these mysteries

Yes, please!

Do you have any place in particular you'd like the reviews? Amazon, Goodreads? I am realizing these are effectually the same place now . . .

Heli, do you want to DM me your address at some point?

Sterre, I think I need your email too. And let me know if you want the unedited copy or would prefer to wait for prettification. ;)

Amazon is the biggie, thanks. If you feel the urge, you could copy and paste it to GR too. Of course, if it's a one star review, then I would prefer it went to the Japanese Kobo store. :P

Hi Lindsay,

I know I'm a newbie here, but I'd be delighted to read your new story. I can post review on Amazon (and probably on my own book review site too) if it suits :)
